I came up with this pattern on my own so be nice and respect the copyright. I am alright with you giving this as a gift but do not sell the pattern or product, or use my pics and calling them yours is not allowed either.

Glad to hear the instructions were clear enough for you to make one, my grandmother had problems with the black stitching around the edges and wings.

Dear Ashley,

I would like to let you know I've translated your pattern into Dutch. I've posted it on the Dutch craftwork forums of hobbydoos.nl, to help a mother whose son is a big fan of Harry Potter, but who was unable to read an English pattern. The translation of your pattern is to be found at http://www.hobbydoos.nl/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=3101&PN=1&TPN=2, with references to you and your website, of course. I changed the description of the edging a bit because I did not fully understand how it had to be done, but mentioned when I did so.

I made a Hedwig bookmark myself to try your pattern and it turned out to be very nice. So thank you very much for your wonderful pattern and keep up the good work!

Kind regards from Holland,

Nicole
